A vintage (early-to-mid 80's) Selle Italia Turbo Saddle Black with alloy rails! New Old Stock in its gorgeous original packaging. $109Just pick this up, and its amazing how light it feels. It seems to be around 10 ounces, which is about 280 or so grams we figure (our scale is not super accurate, but is close). So if you have an exotic 1980's bike and you want an original saddle from that period that is a special lightweight item, and one that is not some repro thing made in China or wherever, then here is your chance!. N ote - this is an alloy rail saddle. Alloy rails can bend or break - so we suggest this saddle as best for those who aren't terribly heavy or rough on their stuff. But if you want to get that exotic Campagnolo Super Record or Campagnolo C-rec bike on a diet, than here is the pefect item. A pair of brand new old
stock Campagnolo Nuovo Record Brake cable set. Front and rear.
Factory fresh, with unlined housings as Campagnolo supplied into
the early-to-mid 1970's. These are the nice and heavy 1.8mm
thick inner cables with the <c> on the head logo. The real deal. The correct original inner cables (especially the rear) are extremely hard to find. A quick glance on ebay on January 7, 2012 showed NO other listings for a complete set such as this. |

A pair of brand new old stock
Campagnolo gran sport brake levers with old logo black hoods.
The hoods are amazingly well preserved and are nice and soft.
They are gorgeous. While the hoods are nice and exceptionally soft, they are 35 or 40 years old, so we suggest that you don't buy these in order to get just the hoods as you can tear them if you try removing them. Use these levers as they are and enjoy.

A fresh new old stock set of
arms (no hardware, just the bare arms, what you see is what you
get) for Campagnolo Gran Sport normal reach calipers.
So if you have ugly arms, or if you have short reach and you
want to convert to normal reach, here is your chance. Again,
what you see is what you get. These are obtained from new
calipers that we stripped for parts. But these parts themselves
can be a real great problem solver or conversion part. You get the arms needed for one bikes worth (so you can use these when making a set of front and rear calipers). Normal reach calipers have adjustment when assembled from 47mm to 57mm. |

Campagnolo Nuovo Record cup and
spindle combo for a Nuovo Record triple post 78 crank. You get
the spindle, the cups, but no lockring and no other fixins. But
these are all the parts most folks need! The cups are the thin
cups which is what ALL Campagnolo Nuovo record triple bb's
used. Why they didn't use the thick cup design on the bb's that
folks rode through the crud on their touring bikes has always
baffled us.

Campagnolo 74ss x 120 bb spindle.
This is a rare item - you won't find it at WalMart! In the
early 1960's, Cinelli and perhaps a couple of other Italian
makers toyed with bottom bracket shells that were wider than the
traditional 70mm. So those bikes have an actual 74mm shell.
Well here is the rare spindle that you need for such a bike! It
is new but has some minor corrosion that should pose no issue
whatsoever when actually used in the bike. The width of the
spindle is about 115.5mm.

Kool Stop Pads for Mafac and also for Campy NR/SR brake holders (be sure to order the right ones). The red compound is probably the best brake compound we've ever met. The black is more traditional, perhaps not as good in wet and not as "stoppy". But the black is awesome for restorations where you want a good balance between performance and classic looks. Mafac pads set of 4. $ 7. For absolute performance, go with a Matthauser type pad or something similar. But for restoration, these will work. They are old, so they are certainly harder than when they were new, but they should give reasonable performance. Note that these are genuine Mafac pads. There are vintage pads out there that look similar but which are much softer; so soft they can melt away if not careful. IRD Freewheels in assorted sizes.
IRD freewheels shift wonderfully and come in an
array of sizes. There just isn't any other currently made
freewheel that offers the array of options that these do. They have gone through a series of versions as they sought to improve quality. The current version is Mark 3. Early versions of these were plagued by some quality issues. We have had some roughness on the latest batch, but the maker says current reliability has been very good and we've had no returns from customers we've sold them to! Plus, excepting cog wear, IRD will warranty without time limit these freewheels. The 5 and 6 speed freewheels are "wide space". The 7 speed freewheels are narrow space. Campagnolo Super Record "Patent"
marking 43 tooth Super Record chainring. It appears new but it
might have been fitted. But certainly was not run. IT is nice
to find a ring like this with the earlier patent marking - so
perfect for that 1973 to maybe 1976 or so restoration (and
fits fine for later ones too of course).

TA Criterium chainring combo with adapter. This is the
adapter that fits TA cyclotourist (aka pro 5 vis) cranks and is
beefier and was often used in racing applications. The
adapter comes with 53/49 chainrings. The large ring has
the old TA logo - the one that says Duralumin forge and also the
TA in a cool chainring circle. The bolts to attach the
rings to the adapter are not included. This combo is new
but you will see some shopwear. But this parts usually
polish right to an amazing gleam. This is a very special combo
for that old Rene Herse or Alex Singer race bike.

Campagnolo Bolts and Washers Set of 12 for $10. When you are installing fenders or racks, it is nice to have high quality bolts around to do the job. The most common bolt on many bikes is M5 - both modern and vintage bikes use them everywhere. These bolts are genuine Campagnolo from the days of Nuovo and Super Record. They have a wonderful chrome finish and are much nicer than those you typically find at the hardware store. They fit things like dropout eyelets, waterbottle bosses, and much more. And when assembling your bike, there are many places to use these. We recently found the washers here to go with these, so again these are supplied with the genuine Campagnolo washers. | Add to Cart |

Campagnolo Quick Release Seatpost Binder Bolt $ 26. This is a handy item for sure - typically works wherever you would be able to fit a conventional Campy 8mm binder but you want flexibility instead. Also great for frames where the binder ears are messed up and the typical binder doesnt have a good area to bit into - this has big concial washer plates that grip the ears from the outside with lots of contact area. The binder is no lightweight - but it can be a real problem solver and a fun bit of Campy exotica on the cheap. What separates a good restoration from a great one is details.
Many folks simply use modern spokes, but to the discerning eye,
that isn't accurate. For some folks, it doesn't matter.
But for others, the details are very important. So for
those who really want it right, we are pleased to still offer
some of these original items. At one time we had perhaps the largest pile of vintage spokes in the world. But now we are running on vapors. We still come across fresh boxes as we sort our giant pile, so you never know when a different length might get listed, but the pile is only a small fraction of what we had. Note that it just isn't practical for us to "search" for a given length. The only way for us to navigate spoke world is to sort a batch and then list it. Note that vintage spokes are typically no more expensive than modern Wheelsmith spokes! Modern spokes are more robust, but for the top-tier restoration bike that gets the occasional ride, they are generally perfect. |
